Position: Android Engineer
Location: Isle of Man
Level: Development team
Reporting to: Management
SOC 2010 classification: 2136 Programmers and software development professionals
Preferred Start date: 1 July 2017
Indication Salary: £24,000 to £31,100 dependent on experience performance-related pay rises may occur thereafter.
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for developing the company’s platform, games, and mobile applications;
Be responsible for project documentation and technical support;
Develop and fulfil new requirements related to the project;
Test and modify the company’s software; and
Troubleshoot and optimise the company’s software.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant subject;
At least three years’ relevant work experience, including good coding practice.
Proficiency in at least two of the following: PHP, Java, C#, Golang, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, Android, iOS;
kilful in applying HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and other front-end technology; and Proficient in databases programing such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server and other development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; in respect of applicants who are not citizens of a majority English-speaking country, English language (speaking, listening, reading and writing) must be certified to at least CEFR level B1; and Fluent in the Mandarin dialect and able to read Chinese fluently.
